PEPS underground parking
Renovation of an indoor parking structure of a Physical Education and Athletics building, plus improvements to roof gardens.
The renovation of an indoor parking structure of a Physical Education and Athletics building was done in three phases; it involved concrete components, the entire sealing system of the roof, improvements to the roof gardens to include new outdoor athletic equipment, and code compliance for the multi-level parking garage. In order to provide the students with high quality athletic facilities without compromising the sustainability of the structure or the water tightness of the building, we consulted agronomists and installed a state-of-the-art drainage system that lightened the structure of the roof gardens. These include a lawn of natural grass, an international-calibre area for the javelin, hammer and shot put, along with beach volleyball courts.
